I am a day early with this one, but I know tomorrow is going to be a rough day.  And since the previous 3 I have posted were just drawings, I thought I would post one this time that is actually complete.

6,000 s.f. on the first 2 floors
2,500 s.f. finished in the basement, nice big windows too.
All brick

I dunno, man. Seems like you had room in the basement for a tennis court.

I'm getting ready to build this year--nothing so palatial, but I love looking at floorplans. Cool!

Nice digs!

Am totally digging the idea of the "hearth room." Second floor plan isn't coming up and the link won't open. Fix it, damn it! Want to lust in my heart after the second floor, too. Agree with Grey...why not put a tennis court on the lowest level. Hmmm, just realized that I don't know the actual dimensions of a tennis court. Just know that the older I get the bigger the court gets.  Do they keep changing the measurements every year?  ;>)

The tennis court dimensions have not changed for quite a while as far as I know.

And I of coarse updated the 2nd floor for you, weird that it stopped showing.  I wonder if it was ever really there.

Are you calling me a liar, you young whippersnapper!?! I'm TELLING you that the courts are getting larger as, over the years, it has become more and more difficult to cover the whole thing. I think that some other posters will agree with me from reading their comments about playing dubs as opposed to singles these days. They obviously just aren't as observant as I am with regard to the size of the court.

Question: do most of the houses you design have the built-in vacuum "outlets?" Wondering because with the size of some of the ones you've shown, would only make sense. The bi-fold closet at the top of the stairs on the second-floor made me think of it because my first thought was that was a great place to put a vacuum cleaner for exclusive second-floor use.

Also, really like that the bedrooms upstairs share a bath with only one other room.

The Jack and Jill bathrooms are becoming very popular.  Most of the time 1 bedroom gets thier own bathroom and the other 2 bedrooms share a bath which they both have direct access to.  And then of coarse the Master has a big one.

As far as the Central Vac Air thingy, I would say abotu 20% of the homes we do use it.

And of coarse I was not calling you a liar, I was really wondering if it showed up when I first posted it and something happened since or if I screwed it up to begin with.  :)
