Thanks for dusting off my journal! :(

The only tennis I've been playing is on a table.
Loads of fun and good exercise but it's just not the same.

Perhaps the only reason I'm catching up to you JamesD is that I've been spending too much time at T4U!!! ;-()

Funny you should ask!  Until recently things had been going ok, though I'm still too heavy to hit the courts.
Yesterday I wrenched my knee at work and have been hobbling around ever since. :(
Looks like I'll be relegated to table tennis and fishing until I cave in and get a new knee.
I miss tennis and all my buddies! :depressed:
Hope you and Will are getting plenty of court time and having fun!!! :))

So bottom line it for us.  How much are you considering this knee surgery/replacement....................or, not at all?    Moms needs a knee surgery/replacement but she is afraid of all that crap so she is hobbling around horribly avoiding the surgery.  It all sucks pretty bad.

Bummer yo.  It sucks to be off of the court that long and then looking at how much rehab just to get back to normal, not even tennis ready.  Best of luck with it all!!!

Wish I had your excuse for not getting on the court. I just don't do it at the moment. I could get out and hit against a wall (frustrating as that is with the crappy low wall available to me). But I've got too much going on at home and I'm working too much to do that.

The 1st sentence is exactly the same as moms although your situation is much more complicated than hers.  I feel for you dude.........that decision is brutal!  I did have a thought...............do you work in the Winter or do you take month/months off?  Maybe Winter is a bettter option for surgery.  Good luck either way.
