Federer is down 4-6 and getting ready to start the second set.  Sad...

Edit - - - Fed is up 5-3 in the second set now.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Federer stinks.  He should retire (insert the sarcasm emoticon here).
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

He is down 2-4 in the third set.  Looks like he is about ready for his second loss this year.

5-6 in the third, if he wins this, it will need to be yet another tie-breaker in the third.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Now we can prepare ourselves for the inevitable discussion of Federer's "decline." I like Roger as well, and his hype is well-deserved, but I don't mind seeing him lose.

Fed beat fererro in the breaker 8-6

this has to be doing something to his confidence....I hope it carries through to the match with Andre. Andre needs a win off federer

Well, I think Federer is making tennis interesting by winning so close. I don't know what's going on with him but it's driving me nuts  ;;)
If he doesn't get his act together, I'll abandon my 1 handed backhand and go back to my 2 hander

Well, his opponent (for at least today) was no slouch.  Plus that finals win in Rotterdam was against Ljbucic who is on a recent tear.

Come to think of it, his last 3 opponents are having a great start this year. Lubicic was in 3 finals? already. His first match at Dubai was against another finalist and Fererro was a former number 1. Agassis is next?

Hey guys...how come we love a player when he/she is winning....BUT if he wins too much we want him to fail??  To me, a sign of a good player is the ability to win EVEN when they are not playing their best.  Just MHO.

cakes :(

i liked Roger before he was winning, and I was happy when he became #1 but I mean right now Men's tennis is boring because we know WHOSE going to win--ROGER!

I was saying the same things a few years back when it was VENUS and SERENA on the women's side. As much as I love Serena, I was tired of her kicking ass, and winning the majors, same with when it Henin, and Cljisters-Women's tennis became boring, and now is FINALLY getting good now that everyone in the TOP 10 has a REAL chance of beating anyone

Cakes.  I love a player to win when dominating.  I love watching history as opposed to reading about it from years past like Laver.  So for me, I want to see Federer dominate everyone.  It is not boring for me.

I like Federer and would like to see him shatter Pete's slam record but I'm more upset that my favorite player, Juan Carlos, missed a great opportunity today.

Come to think of it, I don't even think Fed was playing his best in the 04 Wimbledon Final against Roddick.  He got lucky with the rain and all but was able to stave off Andy who was playing the match of his life.
