When I try to watch (Windows Media Player) the videos after I download them from Megaupload, I have audio but no video. With my last computer, the same thing happened so someone told me to download some other media player or something like that, I think VLC player. Anybody know what they use to watch the videos?

I use VLC to watch everything, because it pretty much plays anything.

You either use VLC media player or you go digging through the blue nowhere for the 50 million codecs that WIMP does NOT have and put them in the system yourself so you can watch it with WIMP. If you don;t want to download vlc I think portableapps are amazing because they are smaller yet same full featured version of programs and they don't sit in your registry and nothing like that. they "install" themselves into a folder and then you delte the folder and its all gone. if you want to try vlc that is, its a great one to have on your system I think.

The VLC that you download now isn't a portable app. Unless there is a portable version available. The one I am using on my main computer is installed. But I still have a portable version.
