Conner's US Open moment (3rd times the charm)
« on: October 05, 2007, 10:01:17 AM »
We've seen this before. It's the point here Conners hangs in under a barrage of Paul Haarhus overheads, then wins the point and has a... ahem... moment with the New York crowd.  This is the full game where Conners breaks Haarhus culimnating in that point.
A couple people have linked to the YouTube version of this point. I think, not only is that version of the poor quality normal for YouTube, but the video is choppy too.
I finally got a copy of this match, and present here a much cleaner video of that point in the match.

This is a Divx avi version of the point. Decent quality, but flat video 72 mg

Conners vs Haarhus avi

Here is an Mpeg 2 version. Better overall quality and larger 196 mb

Thanks D!  That is awesome, so much better than having to watch it on YouTube.  I hate YouTube for tennis clips.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Me too. I rarely click thru unless it's something really interesting to me.

I am not sure what it is, but some of these tennis DIVX movies really jack up my pc.  I have the latest DIVX but when I try to play the video it runs at about 1/20th the speed, and locks my pc down for about 5 minutes.  This one did that to me, I was hoping to see the better quality.  I tried opening it in Windows Media Player and got the same crap...

you should try like using VLC portable on your pc. VLC portable would effect your system less than even a normal VLC. Why would you even use WIMP? Come on! There's a million programs I can list that are way better than Wimp, in fact I can't think of anything worse than Wimp. Not True. but seriously Windows Media player is a resource hog compared to most other programs. anything microsoft feeds of computer resources faster than a hummer can go through a gallon of gas.

WIMP...... :rofl_2: Love it.
I've been using VLC for a few years. It's so much better than WiMP there's not enough room to list 'em all.
I have a stand alone version that requires no installation. I just put it on a CD with a movie and I can watch almost any video on any computer (providing it has enough memory and 1 or 2 codecs installed).
