At 17-7 then 20-7 I thought we had one of the most uninteresting Superbowls in recent years, but wow what a final 8 minutes that was. Steelers near enough completely screwed it up but Warner what a performance he put in during that 4th quarter. Then Big Ben came up with a stunning last drive which was even more impressive when you see how he had done the rest of the game. He'd had  pretty average game so produce a drive as good as that at the most important time of the whole season was pretty special. Well done to the Steelers and very unfortunate for the Cardinals.

The Cards went to a cover 2 defense, and it didn't help that the safety covering Holmes slipped allowing him to pick 30 or more yards.

As expected Marvin Harrison has been released by the Colts for the upcoming season. He was just going to count way too big a chunk towards the salary cap when you consider what he gives the Colts now so it was undoubtably the way forward here. 13 great seasons though for Harrison at the Colts :applause:

Also there is a chance Jeff Saturday will be leaving to go to the current Superbowl Champions the Steelers.

If the Bears do fancy trying to get Marvin on their books I'd say they better be careful because Indy tried to keep him but to lower his salary but he wasn't having that, so he still wants the real big bucks! However, with the injuries and how he is no longer the effective Marvin Harrison of the past he's taking a big chunk of a teams salary cap for what he now gives a team.

He doesn't want to come here. Mushim Muhammad called Chicago the place where receivers go to die. IIRC he lives in Phily and Phily can use him.

Thats a bit worrying then for any veteran receiver linked to the Bears  :rofl_2:
Phily is a very good option for him because he used to go to college and play with McNabb so there's a possible link up again with the 2 former college team mates.

NFL's Tom Brady marries model Gisele Bundchen

Couple weds at a Catholic church in Santa Monica, California, US Weekly reports

Bride wears a Dolce & Gabbana gown; her three dogs attend the ceremony

She's world's highest-paid model; he's gone to the Super Bowl four times

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen married National Football League star Tom Brady Thursday in an "intimate" sunset ceremony, US Weekly magazine reported on its Web site.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen attend a Metropolitan Museum of Art gala May 5, 2008, in New York City.

The couple wed at a Catholic church in Santa Monica, California, in front of mostly immediate family members, the entertainment magazine reported.

The two had dated since 2006.

The bride wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown. Her three dogs, which attended the ceremony, wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars, the Web site said.

Bundchen, 28, is the highest-paid model in the world, the business Web site Forbes.com reported last year.

New England Patriots quarterback Brady has gone to the Super Bowl four times, winning three of those games.

Santa Monica + Brazilian = Swimsuit Dress
I guess the Catholic Church had to go to confession after that wedding. :lmao!:

Browns just traded Kellen Winslow to Tampa Bay for undisclosed draft choices.

Good move for both. He needs to re-boot his career.
