I'm sittin' her'a not doing my homework, posting and kind of sort of watching MNF when all of the sudden they say "Tony Romo is having a Rex Grossman night," or something to that effect after Romo turned the ball over for the 5th time. OUCH!

 :rofl_2: :rofl_2:

Grossman needs ask Ricky Williams where he went into hiding and just go away for a while.

That would suggest Dallas is taking it on the chin. :(
I'll be hard pressed to know who to root for next week. My childhood favorite Dallas, or the Pats who have got my utmost respect for what they've done.  :confused1:

But, Buffalo's QB has just thrown an interception while just about to score and put the game on ice.  As is, Dallas now has a really good chance to score a TD and then go for the 2 point conversion for the tie!  Oh wait, Romo just threw another pick on their 2cnd play and now has thrown 5 picks tonight!   ..-)

Okay, I'll give you USC. But how'd you come up with Dallas. Chuck Knox and the Rams won the division every year and, like Dallas, lost to Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.

I grew up in the Conejo Valley. I lived in Thousand Oaks. About 15 minutes from Cal Luthren College (now University). That's were the Dallas Cowboys had their training camp every year until that reprobate Jerry Jones bought the team and moved it to Irvine, Texas. I played my Pop Warner football for the Conejo Cowboys. I saw the star on the Cowboys helmet, just like the star on my own, and figured that was my team. Still is... sort of.

I'll have another round of TrainRex Glassman, please. That will make my night complete after watching Griese do to GB what he should have been given the opportunity to do against Indy in the SB.

Romo is still "too good." I don't care about the turnovers; this guy is the real deal. Still an elusive competitor. I love to watch him play.

He has marched his offense down to the 5 yard line with 24 seconds left.........but they still will need to make the 2 point conversion for the tie!

And, don't forget the ALDS where Cleveland has just sealed the deal and are moving on after taking down the mighty Yankees!    :king: :gleam:

Dallas scores a TD but are now prepared to try the 2 point conversion for the tie.  Dallas is down 22-24.

Wow, what a game!  The Bills just stopped the Dallas 2 point conversion attempt and it looks like the Bills have the upset.  Or, wait a minute, Dallas attempts the on-side kick and appear to have gotten the ball.  Now they just need 10-20 yards for a field goal attempt and the 1 point win!  This is nuts!

Oh, that's bad for baseball because everyone loves a dynasty... so I've been told by everyone here.

Indians-BoSox ought to a good one!

Regardless of the outcome, Tony Romo is a freakin' stud... from EIU, and every talking head in Chicago was screaming "DRAFT ROMO...!!! HELL, NOBODY DRAFTED HIM, BRING HIM TO CAMP!!!!"

Nope, the dum-bass Bear brass opted to wait for Glassman to heal and avoid a QB controversy.

What a throw!!! Romo really is young Farve... it's uncanny.

So it all comes down to this!  Dallas to attempt a 53 yard field goal which the dude drains for the win..............but wait..........Buffalo called a time-out right before the attempt...............so, set it up and try it again and the dude drains it again................both right down the center and just barely clearing the field goal post!  What an absolutely insane game!  This shiite must be scripted!

I missed the whole thing working.... :mad1: I got home just in time to watch the Joe Torre interview.
Amazing 5 interception (2 returned for TDs), one fumble (also by Romo) and they still get that last touchdown, then after not getting the 2 point conversion, they go ahead and win it with a long field goal, well 2 long field goals. ..-)
Couple things though. There's no question they will change that rule that allows the coach to call time out just before the ball is snapped on a last second field goal. They have to.
Buffalo really won the game. That catch the Owens made to get them in field goal postion should have been reviewed and reversed. He didn't maintain possession.

It was reviewed and overruled, and the Cowboys were left with just 13 seconds to complete two short passes to the sideline to set up the game winning 53 yd FG.

I was wondering which play Dmast was talking about because the one in question was ruled "no catch" but it didn't matter as they still did what they had to!  That was one of the craziest games I have ever seen!  My butt will be dragging because of that one!   :ZZZZZ)   I think MNF is scripted sometimes!
