New Jersey Nets 120 - 106 Milwaukee Bucks

Devin Harris "it was a dream debut!"  :) 21 pts 5 assists in 20 minutes.
Jefferson 19 pts, Carter 19, Boone 14, Nachbar 13, Williams 11, Diop 9, Krstic 8
Let's go Nets!!!  :)

Don't rub it in. :\

Stupid Mavs had to trade Devin.  He was one of my favorites.  So...what do we get in return?  An old Kidd!  Heck, with Dirk out for an injury, we may not even MAKE the playoffs!  Good going Mark... :\

That's what you get for letting Don Nelson go.

Now I don't have anything against Avery....  :))  It seemed like Don was ready to go....I wish he would have gone right out of the NBA because he's been a pain in the.... every since! :mad1:

Let me finish that for you... he's been a pain in Marc Cuban's backside ever since.  :)~
He's a hall of fame coach who should get more respect than he does. I like Avery Johnson, but whos making the personal decisions in Dallas now?

Good luck on getting Nowitski's leg back in shape!  A combo high ankle sprain and knee sprain...wow, that's one twisted leg.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

Outside of them going deep in the playoffs, I don't see Dirk playing again this season...

On to more important teams:
How about the Philadelphia 76ers? "Left for dead" last year after the Allen Iverson debacle and trade, the 76ers have actually had a winning record since his departure. They are quickly closing in on the 5th spot in the Eastern Conference race. The Denver Nuggets are kicking themselves for including Andre Miller in the trade. He was a top ten PG and it is a position the Nuggets are lacking in.

I lost the will to live mid way through the first set!

The 76ers should be losing big time, a big surprise for sure.

Chris Webber a Warrior again... I can't bere to watch this train wreck  :crying:

0-1, lost at home to the freakin' horriBULLS!!!!

1-1, squeak past the Cowbells at home. Webber +14 min of someone elses time, 5 boards, 2 pts

Warriors beat Suns, Webber deactivated

San Francisco Chronicle

Webber didn't play Wednesday, didn't even suit up. Not many NBA players go from the starting lineup one game to street clothes the next game unless they are injured, but that's the wacky world of the Warriors.

Their newest "starter," Webber, who started the three previous games, was deactivated for Wednesday night's game. Great call by Nelson. It paid dividends in what maybe was the Warriors' most uplifting win of the season, a nationally televised demonstration of Warriors magic, leading into the All-Star break.

The perfect position for Webber in this game was down at the end of the bench in a lovely, fawn-brown suit.

Had Webber played, he would have been Bambi crossing the freeway. A guy could get hurt out there.
Ask referee Jimmy Clark, who, when the Suns were stampeding downcourt on a turnover-started fast break, ran for his life like a man trying to stay ahead of an avalanche.

Webber, with the Warriors since Jan. 29, isn't in shape yet to play against a slow opponent, let alone against the run-'n'-stun Suns.

 :rofl_2: :rofl_2: :hysterical:  :rofl_2:

Webber out with knee, Warriors win 3 of last 4 in his abscence   :)

C Webb's career went the way of Derrick Coleman == so much talent, yet so little in results.

Well I definitely do NOT want that to happen.  I'm not giving up on Dallas.  This year we come with no expectations whatsoever...so this will be the year we win it! :rofl_2:

Yes - impressive win today against the Suns.  We should have won the other night against the Lakers!  But at this point - I'll take any win to make the playoffs!

I have to admit when I saw Nowitzki's injury I was sure he tore a knee ligament and figured their season would be over.  Good to see that he's already back to playing.  Now, let's go Spurs :)>>>>!!!

IF the Mavs don't go far or make the playoffs, the Spurs are my 2nd favorite team (have to stay in Texas!)... So First: GO MAVS, and secondly: GO SPURS.... :))
