So I started making highlights last night for the fed-ancic match, and i did the whole selection thing for set1 .. and then it wouldn't make the highlights. the program just compiled the whole set pretty much, so instead of what was supposed to be a 3-4 minute (this is only one set so far) highlight clip, it was a 45 minute 315mb set.. basicaly the whole thing with one missing chunk  :confused1:

so i'll give it another try today. hopefully it works, and then i'll make the remaining two sets.

Am I doing something wrong here? I haven't done any trimming/editing in a while but I thought i knew pretty well how to use the solveig thing. For some reason however, it's basically including everything from the start of my first marked section to the end time of my last marked section. so for example if my clips are timed like so:

10:57 - 12:31
17:21 - 17:49
26:13 - 27:05

so instead of making a video only about 3 minutes long, it makes a video from 10:57 - 27:05  :confused1: :confused1:

This is absolutely the worst thing in the world. why won't it work!? What's wrong with it?! And why is it that I can't find a single simple other program that does this like a simple intuitive way?! If not this, I have heard WIMP's brother windows movie maker does something like it, and that thing crashes every 3 seconds, forget about even thinking of trimming something. maybe i'll just suck it up and learn the vegas video thing that dmast says is good.

i need to get some sleep, i'm stressing out over this .. this.. software that doesn't work, i'll make it work somehow.  :rofl_2:

I think for Solveig, you can only trim one section at a time. I didn't know you could trim multiple sections like that, but if you do, it takes the earliest start time, and latest end time, and trims the entire section like that. so what I would do is trim out all the sections, and label tehm "1, 2, 3, 4..." to make it easy, and compile it together?

Btw, do you have the full version of Solveig, or only the trial version? As far as I know, Solveig only has a 21 day free trial period.

I have both, if you want the full one let me know. It's not as good though, like I heard it handles wmv but it's really not convienent. And solvieg does do multiple trims per video. I know for fact cuz that's how I have made my highlight reels before. You basically go through the video, wherever you want add in a start marker, add in an end marker whereever you want, keep going through the video, do that as many times as you want.. and each time click "add" so it adds that time clip in that list and then run .. it makes a vid of just the marked clips - all of them in one shot. but its not doing that this time - it's doing what you said. maybe what i was using earlier was an older version? (possible since i last used it over two months ago and redownloaded it this time - but did they change versions, i dunno). there's plenty of splitters that do that, like mark one segment and save that segment, solveig was the only one i know of that compiles multiple segments in one shot. kinda strange that there should be more of those but apparently very hard to find.

Here’s the USO 2003 Finals Roddick-Ferrero (uploaded by so else):

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8T1IHS3V  until 3/2 in the 3rd (700 Mo file)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TRGCHJ7O

The problem is the 1st link is a more than 500 Mo file.

Could so who has a megaupload premium account break the file for me, please?

Hmm I woudln't mind having the full version of Solveig. What exactly do you mean by it not being convenient?

since leechz.com is not working did anyone know a site creating megaupload premium links, and not installing any crap?
I got this one http://dlvnn.com/getlinkmega/ but from some time it isn't creating links for me :( this one was great - you could create as much links as you wanted and download them simultaneously by download menager like flashget. maybe it is working for you?

freemu's been down for a while now. As I said in the above post, those things pop up and burst every few months. Zango or whatever that is - that's something I would never let near my computer.

The beginning of the journey:

2001 - Milan:  Federer vs. Boutter  Finals and Fed's first ATP tour title.

(Commentary in French, and in the 3rd set, 4 games after 2-1 missing), but as a souvenir of how it started, I think it's worth having)

Set 1:  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=B4HH4X3X
Set 2:  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2ZYHRRK4
Set 3:  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IPZZR92U

Can anyone reupload first set of this match, please? I’ve been trying to download it for the last few days, but I get the message “the file is temporarily unavailable” all the time. I would really apprectiate that.
