In my place, when the temperature falls below 50ºF we are freezing. And I'm not kidding.

It was 85 at the Chargers game. They had those cooling misters out.

You guys talk only in farenheits  My place was down to -9 a couple of weeks back and its around +9 now (deg Celsius) wierd...but I'm loving the weather here

Yeah that was crazy when you saw that in 1 game then went to the Chicago game and they're both in the same country

I'm with you in dealing in Celsius Falcon with being a Brit  but have to convert it for our American firends here

I can figure out anything near 0C  and 70-80F (that's my range)

The universal system is in Celsius, metres (and I'm spelling it the way one is supposed to), kgs, litres etc....only North America seems to be stuck on to the FPS system

The thing that bothers me is figuring out serve speeds, I just have no feeling what a 220km/hr serve speed is. But tell me 136 m/hr is and I know right away.

Same for me. Converting from meters to feet is easy, the inches drive me more crazy, and I definitely don't have a clue about pounds

But, you know, by watching tennis tournaments held in America you get used to see the serve speed by miles. Although you'd better not apply a first-serve number to a traffic situation.

But its not just tennis I watch...I watch F1 and cricket and other sports too...in all these sports, the speed is in kmph...out of the blue tennis tournaments that are held in America (which is not all that much, compared to the amount of the rest of the sports I watch) come up with mph...its tough.
