I took that at 55mm focal length. Imagine how good that's gonna be when I get my telephoto lens!

Anyone can recommend good men's winter boots that go on easily? I have these cheapo Merona boots but they are ridiculous to get on/off. I'm willing to pay good money for quality.

For what type of winter activity?
Stationary or active?
On ice or on snow?
Lowest temp you expect to be out in?

Might seem like alot of questions, but I have 5 different pair of boots for 5 different levels of activity.

Let's say for walking on icy roads and snow. Maybe 2 different kinds  but give me your whole list!

Stationary (warmest)-  http://www.sorel.com/Glacier%E2%84%A2-%7C-010-%7C-7/803298027182,default,pd.html

Stop & Go 3 season work/play (warm & waterproof) not for long walks-  http://www.irishsetterboots.com/irishsetter-shoe/4831-irish-setter/4831-irish-setter-mens-hammerhead-brown

I've had the earlier version of this boot for 12 years now and it's still going strong!

Active-  (ok warmth if you're moving)  good for warmer days (25-40F) snowblowing or bumpin' around
http://www.sorel.com/1964-PREMIUM%E2%84%A2-T-CVS-%7C-231-%7C-7/803298485463,default,pd.html

Very Active-  (waterproof with some insulation)  I've got a nice pair of Columbia all-leather hikers I've had for 6 years and they're still in decent shape.   Not good for deep snow but ok for walking the dog out on snowmobile trails.

Active work-  http://www.wolverine.com/US/en-US/Product.mvc.aspx/G-C-S-B/7377M/0/Outdoor/Style/Boots/Mens/Big-Horn-Insulated-GORE-TEX-Waterproof-Steel-Toe-8-inch-Sport-Boot

I wear these boots 10-12 hours a day.  Super comfy.

I see almost no snow as well.  It's been slightly raining and that has done the trick.  I like the warmer weather, as does our gas bill and my dog.  :)

It's going up to 56F today and tomorrow's high is 26F.
At least the snow is gone and we got room for more.

Monster - thanks for the show info.
I's got problem feet and need to cater to them so I know a little about shoes.  Let me know if you have any other questions.
