We had some lightning and some thunder. I wondered what the bright flash of light was then the thunder came.  :confused1:

Very unusual for this time of year.

Not long now before the heat complaints come rolling in(except Dallas, she loves the heat.  :)>>>> ).

Strange February from start to finish. We got incredibly lucky that the temps went up into the upper 50s (25 degrees above normal) and didn't get any rain until after all the snow had melted. Had the rain come with the high temps, we surely would have gotten flooded.

Yes I love the heat! :))  It's suppose to be 71 today, but it still feels cold to me right now (only 55 right now).  Have the thunderstorms gone?  I'm not looking forward to March/April here because that's the 'bad tornado-type' weather season for us.

It's 83 today in Chicago!!!!!!  :yahoo:

I'll bet it's no more that 63 tomorrow. Spring sucks. I'll check back tomorrow.

It's 89 in Dallas right now.  I hope it stays in that range!

Seems like I have missed you guys so much.  I was in a workshop Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and now I'm tired!  My hubby is knocked out in his chair right now (not even realizing what Tiger is doing on the golf course - so you KNOW he's tired too)! :rofl_2:

It's been rainy here all day but that is OK because i have planted a ton of grass seed in the front and I need it to grow  :)

It only took 4 days to drop 40 degrees. 43 today in Chicago.

I actually like the heat.  And my hubby keeps the A/C on low so I'm walking around the house in a sweater! :rofl_2:  But this is just the 'beginning' of summer. It actually does get hotter! :))

We've had a nice run of tropical weather interrupted for an hour of so by a T-storm that brung 75mph winds and brought down trees and knocked out power for 600,000 folks in Chicagoland.
