Another absolutely glorious day here, and we've got to make the most of it as we never know if this will be our only good weather this year and by the end of the week its going cooler again. Was able to finish work at 3pm, so raced home- had a bit to eat, before sitting in the sun in my garden before hitting the courts to play for a around 3 hours- on a grasscourt near our house- was fantastic to get a good long hit in fantastic conditions

Typical here, beautiful weekday. Unfortunately, it's the weekends that matter and they've been brutal

We just received this e-mail at work!  And I drive 25 miles to work and 25 back every day!  Hopefully everything will hold off until I get home today!


A few tornadoes are possible later today from southwest Missouri into northeast Texas. And one or two of the expected twisters could be very strong, EF2 or greater.

The biggest threat from today's severe weather, however, will be very large hail, mainly over eastern Oklahoma, far western Arkansas, and northeast and central Texas.

The threat of nasty storms will continue into the nighttime hours ahead of and along a cold front and dry line. The storms are expected to slash eastward through Missouri, western Illinois, Arkansas, northern Louisiana and parts of southern and southeast Texas.

Lets hope they are just small tornadoes and not as bad weather wise as what they fear it could be. When you hear something like that knowing you've got 50 miles to drive it's got to be pretty worrying, so I do hope you get there and back safely Dallas

Summer uniform has started at our school, so we don't have to take our blazers in if we don't want to. That's usually a sign that brings rain, I hope not...

You got that before us Dallas. By 3:00 PM yesterday, it was as dark as nighttime. In fact, it was so dark that the automatic street lamps turned on. It was really scary weather. It was even worse because my niece had her high school graduation last night at 6:00 and we had the leave the house!!

In June the beginnig of Pool Parties season!!  Tomorrow I'll return to the beach!! It's relaxing, funny and nice views!

May is probably the best month of the year!! it's not very hot and weather is always nice!!

May is probably the best month of the year!! it's not very hot and weather is always nice!!   

Total opposite here.  Second straight day of heavy rain and winds.  Hopefully, it will clear up soon.

Yes, usually when it leaves my area - it's on the way to you guys!!!   This weekend is suppose to be nice, sunny and hot, but I'll be in Houston so I'm sure I'll be sweating bullets with all the humidity there.
