11 degrees this morning and we still have the 2"-3" of snow from a day ago.  I am not complaining though..........I am not outside enough for the low temp. to really matter. 

21"+ of standing snow on the back deck and -1 degree F at 9a.m. this morning.

Is 21" cumulative total from when to when? 

I think we've had 3 snow storms of note since November. But it got into the mid 40s here just prior to Christmas and about 1/2 of the November snow melted.
When the temperatures don't go much higher than freezing the snow doesn't go anywhere.

It was about 0 F this morning and I had to walk 1.5 miles! But the forecast for Sunday and Monday is in the 50's with rain. That should get rid of the 5" of snow and give us a new snowless start.
What happened to the warm winter that was predicted?

That's 21" of standing snow on my deck at this time.  It's gone down quite a bit since the last storm!!!

The problem is 5 inches is really 10 feet where it's been plowed. We've got mountains of snow all over the place. After a while I call them dino turds because after a while the rain wears them to big dirty brown blobs around 2 or 3 feet tall.

what happenned to the cold winter here in nj? looks like you massachusets and above folks are taking our share. our weather's been like 20s - 40s which in itself is pretty warm but the most amusing part is we haven't had more than 1 inc of snow stick yet. we got snow a few times but only for a while and no accumulation. It's kinda sad. If I am going to sit through 20 degree weather, I might as well enjoy some good snow. Give me snow or give me death! ok not that extreme, but give me snow or give me heat.

I have never seen 80 deg anytime past October before. I do live in a subtropical climate zone so what else can I expect? Double

Woke up this morning very cold and our heat was out.  It is low 50's in our house and very cold!       That was a brutal shower to get out of!
