I wonder where those folks are that are protesting about "Global Warming" :innocent:

After seeing those pictures....wow....  It's all ice down here in Dallas and you know the City shuts down for just a drop of snow.  So everything is closed - schools, businesses, etc.  I guess the Steelers and Packers brought their weather down here with them :mad1:  Well they can take it back! :mad1: We have reached our high today at 19 degrees!  That is unheard of for Dallas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I want my heat back.... :blue: :blue: :blue: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

And on top of that...we are having wind speed from 30-35 mph! :scared:

Wow fantastic and unbelievable pictures Swish!

I tell you if I ever experienced that much snow in a place its a fact I would NEVER EVER return to that place again :death: :rip:

Wow that's unbelievable to see those sort of temperatures in Texas Dallas :scared: I can imagine how much you are loving this almost unheard of experience for you :rofl_2: Yeah you and me both about this total junk of global warming :\

I'd rather have everyday in the mid-20s than 19 one day and 70 the next. That's Spring in Chicago. My least favorite season of all here, by a large margin. I always get sick with those dramatic temp swings.

Global warming: The non-scientists got out in front of the scientific community with this global warming label. It's unfortunate, because Americans like everything summed up in 4 words or less. But since opponents of the phenomenon are gaining support because they are repeating your 4 words, the scientific community has had to come up with 2 words that better explain the phenomenon: "Climate Change." Climate change describes perfectly what wilsonboy was talking about: record cold, record heat, record snow, record rain, record drought, record hurricane, etc..

Wow that really is a horrible thought and feeling when you realise you've had a worse winter than Chicago :scared: Thankfully the last 3-4 weeks we've avoided any further snow but the big advantage you guys have over us is you can deal with the snow much better than us. The whole country/area just goes into panic mode when we get a load of snow or really bitter conditions and the whole place comes to a halt. That's the story of this country to be honest :rofl_2:

I've been here almost 20 years and never EVER have seen that kind of snow. Not even CLOSE! I mean, that's absurd!  :scared: :scared:

In 2007 and 2008--the only two winters I EVER complained about, the cold was brutal :crying: --but we've had good temps in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

That is absolute craziness Babble that NYC have had it that bad this year and have already had it like that 3 times :scared: I just can't even begin to imagine coming out to snow that deep! Maybe NYC would be the 1 exception then due to its unbelievable city that you have to fall in love with :)

Still waiting in Chicago. I'm watching the news, and they are frothing at the mouth showing pictures of sleet getting blown back in the air by unexceptional gusts of wind. Nothing to get excited about at this point despite the hype and misleading imagery. Real snow flakes fell for about 1/2 around 2:30, but it's been steady sleet. The worst was to hit at 3pm, then 6pm, now maybe midnight...???

How's the blizzard of 2011 treating you?

Raining pretty hard here now.  The bad news is that it is 30 degrees out so it is gonna freeze.  Crap.  It's suppose to be like this for a long time.
