I guess for you that's bad.  We are in to the 20+ consecutive days of at least 100.  I'm sitting here at 9:05pm and the temp is still showing 101!

I think you guys are more worried about the drought than the actual heat since 100+ degree is the norm down there.

I don't think dallas is worried about anything or knows what to worry about for that matter

Funny..but as a matter of fact, my stance is "why worry" about anything - especially the things you can't control.  We can't control the weather, the heat, or the drought so no...I DON'T worry about it Babbs! :)~ :rofl_2:

We need the rain....send it our way.  We are in a severe drought.  40 days straight at 100+ degrees and NO rain.

Rain?  what's that?  We broke our streak.  We had 40 straight days of 100+ weather broken on yesterday.  We only reached 97.  But we're back over 100 today.  And no rain in those days either.  We can almost walk across our lakes! :rofl_2:

worst summer in more than a decade.
july was the warmest in Spain since 1977, warmest in Barcelona since 1997. august has been the same story.
not summer time at all, just imposibble to go to beach and tanned in a week of holidays.
feeling like spring or autumn, very cloudy, some rain then perhaps some sunny days.

I really liked the weather in Spain.
I was mostly down by Cadiz and had an 10th floor apartment right on the beach for a year.  :king:

that's wonderful! you really know how to chose a destination.
Cadiz is a not well known destination in Spain, and it's one of the big 5 small cities you must visit in the country, Granada, Toledo, Salamanca and Santiago the others. quite similar to a small Havana.
it's the oldest city in Spain and probably in western europe, founded by the phoenicians. the landmark is quite unique, home of some of Spain's most beautiful beaches.
trully and historic city! so many important things had happened there.
notable music people were born there, Manuel de Falla, Paco de Lucia, Camaron de la Isla, Niņa Pastori.
the carnivals are one of the best knows in the world.
in the province there's plenty of places to visit, Jerez (sherry, horse riding, speed track, Gibraltar, the famos bullring of El Puerto, Sancti Petri beach, Tarifa surf, Doņana Park, Algeciras....

the most important about Cadiz for sure: The city is often noted for having the most humorous people in Spain. (more than Seville or the Canary Islands). very linked in history and kind of people to Latin America (as the other 2 places I mentioned).
