This thread needs a bump. Great Wimbledon by Roddick so far. If he doesn't take this, I hope he can pick up enough momentum to take another slam and shed the "one slam wonder" title.

Or a tennis player/swimsuit model enthusiasts. Surely, most of us fall within that category.

Actually, this was the only Roddick thread on the first page of the forum. It may not be tennis specific, but close enough for me.

That's fine, but the wedding pics are way over the top. I came here just to jump in on the discussion and it's like I'm looking at his private life from behind the bushes.

as a fan this is what i have been waiting for andy in not just a grandslm final but in wibly final i have takne so much $hit being a fan in fact when he was playing murray a manager came up to me on friday and said they would come and laugh in my face when murray won , i
dont care about that for rubbing peoples aces in it im just in it for the ride and lets say the roddick rollcoaster has all the fun of the fair in it!!

Andy has done you proud and good on ya

for sticking by him. Whether Andy pulls it off or not is to be seen, but I have a feeling Roger will be facing a different Andy Roddick today.

I feel absolutely terrible for Andy after losing a Final like that and a 3rd Wimbledon Final

that was an absolute epic and to see someone who loves this tournament so much end up beaten like that is pretty devastated. He has so much to be proud of though so I hope he will use this to kick on and continue his excellent year and comeback stronger next year at Wimbledon. BGT and Claire I am truly devastated for you and can only say Andy did you so proud and if he continues this form he'll win Wimbledon 1 day

Hard to say that the USO will play faster than Wimby this year. Wimby finally played up to it's fast track reputation this week. But Andy's performance bodes well for the USO. Me thinks we shouldn't over look NYC before we talk about another crack at the big W. I know Andy wants a Wimbledon title bad, but he's a homer and the USO is the trophy he most covets.

I have never been a fan of Andy Roddick on court, but of court I have always found him a great guy, a respectful guy, the way he fought today was great but I disagree, if Andy Roddick was to win Wimbledon, today was his day, the way he choked in the 2nd set tie-break was

I have never seen anything like it

I knew then at that point he lost the match.
