Wouldn't surprise me if Maria drew her in either 1st/2nd or 3rd round instead of some lowly ranked qulifier or wildcard!

Also, there are usually separated threads for ATP and WTA.

EDIT: the draw is about to take place. You can listen to it on AO Radio. I will type the draw out as I hear it.

Henin with a tough Round of 16 against Golovin, she would have to get through Schiavone in the Round of 32.  The bottom quarter is the weakest.

Federer v. Gozalez
Djokovic v. Ferrer
Davydenko v. Gasquet
Nadal v. Roddick

Nadal has Moya in his 16th and Federer has Berdych.

Roddick with a pretty easy draw, Kolschreiber, Nieminen and Robredo in his 16th.

Yeah, that draw is off, I know Federer has Verdasco as his first seed, Roddick has Kolschreiber, Robredo vs. Nieminen, Nadal vs. Simon.

Davenport vs. Sharapova in Round 2!!!!

Very tough match for Jankovic in round 1 against Paszek.  Serena gets Gajdosova(sp?) in round 1 with a whole bunch of qualifiers in her area.  Henin has Nakamura.  Venus has Yan Zi, Ivanovic with Cirstea.

Roger gets Diego Hartfield in the first round, the gets the winner of a interesting funny match between Santoro and Isner, a trick 2nd round for Roger.

Roger and Novak have tough draw. I like Nada's side better (Roddick and Murray). I'm still trying to digest this.

Our gal Lilia Osterloh plays Patty Schnyder in the first round.  Come on Lil!  Good luck!

The toughest quarter is Djoker's, followed by Roger's, then probably the Gasquet/Murray/Youznhy/Davydenko quarter, then lastly Roddick/Rafa.  The bottom half is the easiest.  I honestly don't see too much in the way of the Rafa/Roddick QF.  Roger has a trickier route and Djoker has a really tough one.  I mean, Djoker has Dima, Hewitt, Baghs, Nalby, JC Ferrero, Stepanek, and Ferrer!  If I remember correctly, he had the toughest quarter in NY as well.
