You had to feel it was only a matter of time with him.

You had to feel it was only a matter of time with him.

He had a press conference yesterday morning about it. Very short, no questions, just a statement. He acknowledged that he knows the lady in question. He says she had an accident, and hurt herself, but he wasn't around at that time. Then she called him and asked for money or she will go to the press (the report said six figures which is a hundred thou). He says he's never layed a hand on a woman in anger. But I remember some incident with a parking meter attendant in Minnesota.
Of course the first thing he would do is deny. We see athletes in trouble go down denying. He did come off as calm and believable. One thing he stressed is that his teammates don't know anything about this situation so he hopes the press would leave them alone. That's unselfishness that I wouldn't have expected from him.

randy moss being like that WOW  Maybe he is a somewhat changed man in a team and he for sure wants a Superbowl title this year. much more disciplined man than in recent years but in a team like the Patriots thats the only way they know. thanks for the update dmas keep us posted on the events from this!

Current report on the Moss incident, says that the lady (who had a restraining order place on Moss) injured her finger in a "horseplay type incident" (quoting the report, not the lady) and x-rays came back negative. She says Moss offered her $100,000 to keep quiet.
Now, it seems to me if she got hurt in a "horseplay" incident, why all the hubbub (bub)? I mean this isn't abuse, it's an accident. He says he wasn't there, and she extorted him for $100K. She says he was there and he offered $100K to keep quiet. To me, if both say it was an accident, why the need for any hush money (from either side)?
Sounds very much like grasping to me. Either there is more to the story, or she is just trying to get a payday.

uhm don't know what to think of this now because when you hear these type of stories (like over him with footballers) you're never saw whether to believe it or to think its some girl looking to make some nice easy cash. The story is starting to sound a little bizarre really right now especially the injured 'finger'  Sounds to me as if Moss probably hasn't done a lot wrong and this story is another example of somebody trying to make some nice money from a famous person after making an accusation against them. But if it was due to "horseplay" what was wrong in the first place? Anyone can get hurt horsing around. It's no crime to injure someone's finger in that situration. I've hurt people, and been hurt by people just horsing around.

Good point, there is definitely something there that doesn't quite add up for sure. This story is really beginning to sound a bit fishy and I'm really unsure as what to think and believe of it right now
