I thought I had no idea who Harvey Milk was either. But then I remembered that I had seen a documentary film on a gay politician in San Francisco who was murdered in the late 70's, but I could never remember the guys name. After noting the similarities, it finally dawned on me that the guy was Harvey Milk. So I did have an idea after all. :lmao:

Anyway, I hear it's a good film, haven't had the chance to see it yet.

I want to see Doubt. The trailers seem really interesting, has anyone seen that yet?

Even though it stars my favorite actor--Phillip Seymore Hoffman (Laura Linney is my favorite actress  :)--I'll likely pass on this one. Had it come out 10 years ago, I would have seen it opening night.

Yeah, more than likely I'll wait for the DVD. :))

I saw Role Models last week. Just my kind of movie. :gleam: Dirty, raunchy, with plenty of sex jokes and getting hit in the nuts. Besides, Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott are two great reasons to see it. :lust:

I'm very serious. It was a beautiful story. And being a Louisiana native and the movie being set in New Orleans, it's special. ://

This movie should win at least 4 Oscars: Brad Pitt (Best Actor), Cate Blanchett (Best Actress), Taraji P Henson (Best Supporting Actress) and Best Make-up.

I rented The Duchess for tonight. I hope it's good. I am planning to see Valkyrie tomorrow night. I know the story and I know the ending but still. Apparently, Hitler faced 42 death threats in his lifetime and this was one of the most talked about one. After surviving all those attempts, he started to believe he was immortal.

I honestly think that it's about time Brad takes an Oscar home. What a wonderful actor. A lot of people dismiss him simply because of his good looks but had they seen Fight Club, Se7en, 12 Monkeys, Kalifornia, Babel, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and now Benjamin, they would rethink everything.

Benjamin should also get the best direction award. It was so beautifully directed.
