Yes, I like relatively few films that predate the late 1980s and would never consider any actors from past eras among my favorites. Film has come a long way, and I find much of the dialogue, and therefore acting, of in the classics total cornball.

I agree but I also think it's difficult to find great movies from Hollywood in 80's, the Reagan administration was in control and also in the last 10 years.
