I got around to Inglorious Basterds last night. I didn't know anything about it, other than it got nominated for best picture. I hope it wins. The Hurt Locker was really good, too, but Avatar's just retarded. And The Blind Side is not Oscar worthy. Anyway, great flick. Ironically, I was watched it with my Jewish friend. I broached the subject afterward. I said it must be awful to be German and have to watch, or not, these movies all the time. Then I asked about his experience. He said he's just numb to it, now. He said every year there's a movie about this. He said last year there were 4. Still, it can't be easy for most Jews or Germans...I would think.
