Fed OKs plan to rein in unfair, deceptive credit cards
« on: May 02, 2008, 11:03:44 PM »
This is some pretty good news. It may not solve people overspending (if I've got credit I might as well use it), but at least it will keep the credit card companies from ripping their hearts out and forcing them into bankruptcy by limiting their ability to raise intrest rates and giving people more of a grace period with which to make payments.

And is the sawdust jealous?

I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg
