Played with my drinking buddy.     

7-5, 5-7, 6-0 win today. Match time 3 hrs.
Good workout but I seemed sluggish.
I let some balls go right by me?? I could have got them but didn't, had this problem awhile back. Don't know where it comes from but lost only about 3 points that way, too much for something you can so something about easily.
The new shoes I got let my feet slide around in them too much on hard stops, so I guess I'll just have to tie them tighter.

You guys didn't drink before the match or quite a bit the night before did you?
On the shoe issue, I like to get my feet used to new shoes and let the foot settle down into the shoe before using them in match situations.  I try to wear the shoes around as much as I can before actually using them on court.  The best way to break them in is hitting and re-tightening them as your feet settle in.  Good match BTW..............no matter the level you play at, its always fun to play close matches with even level opponents. 

I didn't but he did, to some extent. He'll straighten up after a few beatings.

By the way I am Bush because I always loved George Bush, the 2 time president.  

Today was a 3.5 hour match, tough as hell too.
Nothing working for me like usual. I use a 2handed BH but today was using one hand sometimes, don't know why. Forhand went awry sometimes, don't know why, strange.

My prematch meal was too close to match time, 3 eggs, 50 grams of protein, vitamins of all kinds and a lot of coffee.
When I got on the court I was dehydrated but was full so drinking water just stayed in my stomach. It stayed that way all match, terrible.

We had a great time battling back and forth, fist pumps were flying all over the place as well as some bullsh#t remarks. I loved it. We were both @sses at times, made the match all the more dramatic.

We both get fired up and get out of hand some, it means a lot to us and we like competing. When it was all over we shook hands and congratulated each other on playing so seriously.

Glad to see the results breakdown, very cool.  Eating before matches is a tough one for me.  I try not to eat a big meal within 2 hours of a match.  If it is within the 2 hours then it must be a small snack or something.  Keep up the exciting results.

I was supposed to wake up at 7, the alarm went off (music) but I just laid in bed till 8 45, then ate before my 10 o clock match.
Next match is 10 AM tomorrow, Thursday.

I can't afford to be retired, I'll be starting up my log again soon, the weather is looking good.

Tough win today. 4-6, 8-6, 6-3. Game started at 11:45 to 2:15, 2.5 hours. 
Sunny and about 80F.
I had a sore lower back, was getting sharp pains when really running.
Seemed to ease up a little as the game went on though.
We took a water break, about 5 minutes after the second set and my back tightened
up again.
I guess it's just rest up now for a few days.

I've been a little lazy. 

No tb, have to win by 2 games, it's seems more exciting.

Had a good match. Was about 90+F and midday. 
The game went unfinished.
At the public park we were getting into the game pretty good, very hot and sweating profusely, I loved it.


But then the kids came, the supervisors, kids themselves maybe 16-17 came into the tennis courts with about 50 kids. They were playing with various sizes balls, some beach balls and some smaller ones, balls and balls everywhere. 

I almost ran down a few meandering kids while chasing down balls. Finally we just quit because it was too  dangerous, some of the kids were only like 5 yrs old and could be knocked down so easily, kids running across the court while we were playing.

I talked to the park supervisor, pointing out the danger and consequences. I didn't even finish when the supervisor went to clear the kids out.

I guess I'm a killjoy but maybe saved some little citizen from injury in the future.
