If you've got the time and $$$ I think it's a great idea.
I think experimenting with different combinations is a great idea if you've got several racquets with the same specs and don't mind restringing every couple weeks.

I don't really need the racquet/strings to give me much power.  I am much stronger than most tennis players.  I'm actually a certified personal trainer and nutritionist.
