I have a VERY powerfull arm.  I hit with a good amount of topspin and sometimes still feel as though my shots go long because of the power I put into them.  Could anyone recommend a string that has low power to try and combat against this?

One option is something that we've been discussing already. Luxilon, or another Poly type string, like Cyberflash, Babblelot Hurricane Tour. Another is to increase your current tension. The tighter the stringbed, the less inherent power you will get. You third option is to go with an Aramid or Kevlar hybrid, like Prince Pro Blend, or Forten Thin Blend. Kevlar is even deader than Poly.
If you have any history of arm problems both Kevlar and poly string will exacerbate that problem.

But seriously, this sounds like something that needs to be fixed with type of grip (western) or maybe even the swing.  If the ball is going long it is not necessarily something we should ask the string to fix right?

no offense, and especially not having seen your game, but if one has control issues with poly at 60lb then perhaps it's the swing.

just to elaborate my point james blake will more definitely have control issues if he used your racquets, but thats because he goes 68lb full luxilon alu on a 95in2 18x20 racquet because of his massive flat swing and quick swing speed, but i highly doubt you can put as much work on a ball as he can.  obviously this is more costly but IMO racquet switching would be more helpful at this point than going up in tension or moving to kevlar.

I actually am switching racquets, haha.  I just bought a technifibre 310 used and by suggestion (i think yours actually), i'm going to check out the dunlop mfil200

I am also waiting on demo's to get to my house for the wilson k6.2, wilson ncode 6.2, and Babolat Aeropro drive cortex.
