During this time I only have one wish - that the Texas Rangers don't finish in their customary place - last.

But Seattle is giving us a run for our money for the last place position so far!

Dont remind me - I remember those years. The only thing that helped us was that the Rangers back then were Washington's headache! We had a minor league team "Dallas/Ft. Worth Spurs"...who didn't do that well either!

One of the best pitchers in baseball, Johan Santana, got beat by grand slam hit by a pitcher. Not just any old pitcher, by a pitcher in the American League (Seattle's Felix Hernandez), where pitchers don't have to do any hitting.

Then a couple of innings later he gets his leg rolled on a play at the plate and had to be helped off the field.
