No, it's definitely Manny vs the Sox. He will get so booed he won't know what hit him. I would actually fear for his life. There are a few die hard Manny followers still, but they are out numbered 80:1. Those who hate him really hate him. His behaviour prior to being traded was so atrocious as to complete embarrass himself, if he had a conscious. He totally quit on the team. He was essentially voted off the team by his teammates (management actually polled the players before doing the deal and they said trade him). He attacked a 60+ year old club house guy because the guy couldn't get him free tickets in Texas. Then he trashed the city of Boston, the team, and it's fans on his way out of town.
It's a perfect storm. Tens of thousands of passionate, insulted, angry Red Sox fans await. I don't know if $20 million could entice me to be Manny Ramirez in that situation.
Well, maybe it would, but still.... ..-)

I've always followed the White Sox more than the Cubs - guess cause I follow the AL.  I don't feel bad at all for those Cub fans! :rofl_2:  At least they MADE the playoff.  Tell them about the Rangers.... :whistle:

Yea, the Red-Sox seem to have gotten used to the whole "winning in October" thing! 

They've certainly gotten used to the whole beating up on the Angels in the playoffs thing. The went 1-8 in the regular season against the Angels, then come to within 1 or 2 plays of sweeping them away in the playoffs for the third straight time. In the end the Angels salvaged one game.
John Lackey showing some sour grapes after the game, saying they did not loose to a better team. The Red Sox didn't do anything. A pop up that was called a single (but still scored 3 runs), and a play in last nights game that was a questionable call (but looked like a good call to me). He said he wanted to throw somebody through the wall. I think Mr. Lackey needs to take a look at the scoreboard. Red Sox 3 games, Angels 1 game, and that one game was an 11 inning affair that could have gone either way.
