Tommy LaSorda called Giants fans the worst fans in all of baseball. Do you remember who Jim Rome was referring to when he said "battery chucks". But Giants only got excited for the D  dgers. In general, typical baseball fans back in my years.

I was busy working and watching Madrid. I didn't hear about it until I got in the car to go to work this afternoon.
It's pretty amazing what they've been able to do. 2004 coming from 0-3 and having been killed 16-9 agianst the vaunted Yankees in game 3, only to win 4 straight and win the series. Then coming back from 3-1 against Cleveland last year. Can anybody (other than the White Sox) put this team away?
In other news the players voted to give poor Manny Ramirez a two thirds playoff share.  ..-)

I did. Why do you intentionally walk the person in front of Drew, when Drew hit a home run against you in his last at bat?  :confused1: I thought the game had been decided when I came home because the philadelphia weather man stated the forecast next wednesday with the "Rays" symbol showing.

This is so exciting! Damn, if Boston plays Philly in the WS, I'm torn. I'm and NL fan, but have been a closet BoSox fan all my life.
