Missed the match but I'm thrilled with the result.
What a spectacular win for Andy.
Hopefully this will boost his confidence going into the hardcourt season and he can make some inroads at the U.S. Open.

The game is there to compete for slams and medals.
It's just a matter of putting it all together.
Perhaps Llendl has had a hand in this.
Or perhaps Murray is maturing a bit and gaining some control over the inner demons that have haunted him in years past.

I definitely hope so. He is not only a very good tennis pro, but also a straight-forward person. Hopefully he will win a major soon..

As Murray claimed victory in Sunday's final, Henry turned to give his father a hug.
But then he told his father he "had to go" and ran across the stand and into the box used by Roger Federer's family.
"I was down near the royal box area in front of Roger Federer's family and then I hugged Andy Murray.
"I just thought I had to be there."
He said Murray told him "anything for my fans" as they embraced.
